  • Program of the PhD students and Young researchers Workshop
  • This half day is dedicated to current students conducting a thesis dealing with light and lighting or young doctors who recently passed their PhD in this field (after 2010).
    CIE is glad to organise a moment when they will be able to gather in thematic groups with international experts giving them advice and sharing their knowledge.

    The purpose of this event is:
    - to strengthen and consolidate the international community of young researchers involved in lighting research;
    - to stimulate exchanges between young researchers;
    - to discuss possible involvement in CIE activities.

    In the morning, some French young researchers organise a visit of places in Paris, having a special interest in Daylight and Artificial light regarding urbanism and architecture.

    Registration is free of charge but with a limited number of participants.
    Registration is mandatory on the event website




    Each participant will have 2 minutes to present 4 slides of their work, using CIE templates. They should contain personal details, key words of competences and expectations. The presentation will stress main processes, findings, ideas, and wishes.
    The information will be gathered and distributed to the all the participants of this workshop.
